About Makex

Makex is a small Swedish 🇸🇪 brand focused on creating easy to assemble, high quality building kits inspired by real world places.

With each building kit we want to achieve three things for you the customer.
1. Be easy and enjoyable to assemble.
2. Learn something interesting about the real model.
3. After assembly have a detailed model to proudly display and act as a memory.

Designed for the experience

Our products are not just designed with the final product in mind. They are assembled and iterated multiple times to ensure the entire process from opening the package, assembling the model, and finally having a well built model ready to be displayed, are all enjoyable parts of the process.

Instead of glue or complicated instructions, the parts are engineered to snap together smoothly, making the building process simple, satisfying, and accessible to everyone.

The goal is not just the final result, but the experience of creating it.

Inspired by real places

The first product is based on the Grimeton Radio Station—a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been transmitting radio signals across the Atlantic for over 100 years.

By turning real places into physical models, Makex aims to create products that carry both meaning and history.

Made in Sweden

All products are designed and manufactured in Sweden, with a focus on quality, detail, and consistency.

From the first prototype to the final packaged product, every step is carefully considered.

Just getting started

Makex is at the beginning of its journey, with more building kits already in development.
